Colorado RENU Loan

The Colorado Residential Energy Upgrade (RENU) Loan is a statewide residential loan program sponsored by the Colorado Clean Energy Fund in partnership with Colorado-based credit unions. It makes home energy upgrades easy and affordable by offering low-cost, long-term financing for energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements.

Repayment: Monthly principal and interest payments; no prepayment penalties

Security: Secured by UCC-1 filing on installed measures only; no lien placed on property

Who is Eligible for RENU?

Homeowners

Property owners of existing, single-family homes in Colorado including primary, secondary or income properties, as well as townhomes and condos that don’t have shared heating or cooling systems.

SUN Solar Co-op Solar Equity Loan

Colorado Clean Energy Fund is collaborating with Solar United Neighbors (SUN) to support SUN’s Colorado-based Solar Co-op programs to provide a Solar Equity Loan. CCEF is able to assist participating Solar Co-op homeowners with low-cost financing for rooftop solar.

Security: Unsecured
