About the Community Partner Initiative

The Community Partner Initiative is a working relationship between CCEF and Community Partners to bring awareness of CCEF’s financing opportunities to communities throughout Colorado, and to support Community Partners by sharing their updates, offerings, and mission with CCEF’s audiences. The purpose of the Community Partner Initiative is also for CCEF to gain insight into the communities that these partner organizations serve, as well as to collaborate with and serve as a resource for Community Partners on future marketing events, campaigns, and initiatives.

There are a multitude of ways for potential partners to get involved in the Community Partner Initiative. Participation can involve anything from sharing one or more of CCEF’s resources or financing opportunities with your audience, to collaborating on digital marketing campaigns, to designing unique events that bring together audiences from both organizations’ networks. It all begins with choosing your desired level of involvement and taking into consideration what will best serve your team, your goals, and your audiences.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The Community Partner Initiative has three tiers: Collaborator (Tier 1), Innovator (Tier 2), and Champion (Tier 3). The tiers build on each other and we collaborate with each partner to decide which action points to include in the partnership terms. If you’re interested in learning more, please reach out to us here.

Partnership terms are very flexible & tailored to each partner. We work with potential partners on an individual basis to determine what level of engagement makes the most sense for their organization and audiences.

CCEF Community Partners receive tailored support in advancing their organization’s mission. We’ll share what you have to offer via our own social media channels, email communications, paid ads (tiers 2 and 3) and more.

We seek partnerships with organizations and entities that are mission-aligned—meaning that, first and foremost, potential partners have a mission and vision focused on addressing climate change in some way. The Community Partner Initiative is not a “one-and-done” deal; we value quality over quantity, and want to ensure that our partnerships are ongoing, collaborative, and mutually beneficial with the shared goal of bringing value to each of our audiences and stakeholders.

The time commitment for a Community Partner varies depending on the partnership level chosen. As the tiers build on each other, we can say that tier 1 partnerships generally involve less time and commitment than tiers 2 or 3. It’s all about determining which level of involvement makes the most sense between our two organizations, keeping in mind mission alignment and shared markets and stakeholders.
